Korean companies stole IDEA

IDEA, which stands for International Design Excellence Awards program, was dominated by Korean companies including LG, Samsung, Coway and so on. The Award was held by the Industrial Designers Society of America and the list of winners for 2012 announced on July 2.

What strike me the most was the fact that three of the four top corporate winners were founded and are headquartered in Korea (LG, Samsung, Coway). This surely shows the Korean dominance in design. 

LG won the silver award with its 55” OLED TV, along with Samsung and Coway.
